Good morning Floral Bar People!
Welcome to another Sunday where we digest the events of the past week, make our mental to-do lists for the week to come, and hopefully kick-back and relax with a cup of coffee while catching up on some reading. Floral Bar blog reading ;)

I’ve said this for the past few weeks now, but I can’t believe Christmas is only a few days away and 2024 is coming to a close. This has been one of the most wild years of my life - so many ups and downs and changes that have brought me to the moment I’m in now, and despite everything there is a feeling of peace in my heart. As the winter solstice came and went yesterday bringing us our shortest day of the year, we now have the next few weeks to rest our minds and bodies and prepare for the lighter days ahead.
One of the best things for anyone in a dark time in life, or simply one who needs light in their day from the cold and dark days of winter, is Vitamin D and sunlight. While it can be impossible to access sunshine in our northern climate, we have a beautiful opportunity with the cold and snow to decorate our homes with marvelous strands of lights that illuminate our home and garden. This is a practice my mother continues to this day to brighten our spirits throughout the year - adding bright holiday lights in every room of the house, ensuring we were the merriest family on the block with our outdoor lights and shining garden. Light brings us together - driving around the neighborhood and looking at the Christmas lights on all of the huge houses on the lake with my grandparents growing is a favorite past time, and at Floral Bar we’d love to help keep your family traditions alive, beautify the lighting in your garden, and lift your spirits as we navigate through winter in search of any sign of spring.

On top of holiday lighting, we can also plan for your 2025 garden lighting now! Contact us with any questions, ideas, and inspiration and we can begin planning the garden of your dreams! There are so many unique ways to bring light to your garden, and Floral Bar has you covered for all of it.
If you have any garden lighting questions, send us a message and we’ll get back to you ASAP!
In the meantime, happy holidays, everyone! And a very happy new year to you all!
Xoxo,
Alyssa & The Floral Bar Team
