Lakeshore Sport and Fitness Center - Your New Hang-Out Spot

Good morning and welcome to another Floral Bar Sunday!

I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween, especially considering the weather was the best we’ve had in years. While my boyfriend and I had literally ZERO trick-or-treaters, it was nice knowing the kids could sport their costumes without wearing a puffy winter coat and freezing their little butts off.

As the cold season continues to approach and the holiday cheer comes to life, we begin to prepare for the snow, shopping, and dinner menus that we never fail to put off till the last minute. It’s also a time of year to indulge and maybe put our fitness goals on the back burner until year begins again. I wanted to mention Lakeshore Sport & Fitness Center in Chicago, a bustling corner in the Lincoln Park neighborhood where you can keep your fitness goals throughout the holidays with their options of fitness classes and different sports while also keeping up with your lifestyle of dining, dinner dates, and socializing. In addition to a full gym, there are two full-sized pools, multiple courts, personal trainers, locker rooms, sports massage and physical therapy… you can even enjoy a delicious smoothie or healthy meal at their Market Café or Harvest Rooftop Restaurant & Bar. These are both full-service all day long - it’s awesome! If you want to bring your family from out of town to have an experience that promotes health with sporting activities like swimming, pickleball, and volleyball, you can literally enjoy an entire meal and glass of wine afterwards while spending your afternoon in a busy, panoramic environment where the Chicago skyline is the main piece of art.

Speaking of art, Floral Bar has created beautiful arrangements and horticulture that encompass the center showcasing native perennials and some non-natives too, capturing the Midwest and all of its beauty while helping the environment and supporting wildlife in the area. Having pops of nature in a professional setting is inviting, warming, and overall healthier for the people who engage in your business. Our goal for businesses and corporations is to recognize with us the importance of having native plants and how this can shape the environment while maintaining the aestheticism that brings people into the building.

Lakeshore Sport & Fitness Center is also a great place to take your family  - even if you wanted to drop off the kids in one the preschool rooms for the afternoon and have them enjoy the Youth Complex Gym and Game Room while you have some well-deserved “me” time taking a yoga class and having a smoothie - there’s something for every single person at Lakeshore Sport and Fitness Center.

We see “lifestyle” being promoted every which way on social media these days that try and push unnecessary “health” products, new diet fads, and workout regimens with goals that are unrealistic and unattainable in your everyday life. Wouldn’t it be cool to have one place where you could go to achieve all of these things in a way that’s at your own pace, in your city, and hits all of the main areas of lifestyle where usually you’d have to drive to multiple places to check all the boxes? It exists. It’s in Lincoln park, guys. Check it out on West Fullerton, or stop in their North Setson Street location. If anything stop by to see come pretty flowers.

Thank you all for following along every week in our little community. I hope this week brings you warmth, peace, and maybe a little Christmas Spirit to kick us off for the next month and a half!

Have a wonderful week everyone!!

Xoxo,

Alyssa & The Floral Bar Team
