Floral Bar is mid-west based small business that specializes in landscape design, custom garden enhancements, landscape lighting & event florals. The heart of our business is to help our clientele create spaces that are of unique to their desires with functionality; each showcasing plants with sustainability at the root. ​We challenge past garden principles with organic practice's & products, while remaining active in the community with respect to Mother Earth.

Officially a landscape designer and florist. Leah started working for a landscaping company in 2006, working 7 days a week. Realizing she was still happy working every day, she said this must be what I do for work. The plant world is vast. After many years in the industry, she recolonized that any weed product not only would hurt the ecosystem but the people and animals too.

My boss from 2006 and my co-worker were pivotal to my learning. They had a vast knowledge, and I soaked it up year after year, one key was the diversity of plants at this business. Slowly the management stopped ordering the cool plants and the gardens became more boring. We want to reinvigorate the love of diversity; plants still surprise us on a daily basis.

Unofficially she is a home chef, water lover, dedicated TIA (aunt), who enjoys speaking Spanish.
Floral Bar exists to create enjoyable spaces, either a wedding venue for a wedding day, or a dynamic garden. We love being surrounded by the plant world.

Leah has been working in the industry for 20 years, landscaping Chicago rooftops, postage stamp gardens, and large suburban estates. I created Floral Bar to celebrate Mother Nature's unlimited joys. I'm inspired by all people and their connections to nature. Whether it is for a large wedding, a small intimate wedding, a workshop, or landscaping, My Team & I are here to help steer you in the best direction for the space you are in. I believe flowers and plants help cherish each fleeting moment while setting the desired moods. ​

Floral Bar is committed to the organic flower movement and reducing the footprint within the floral and landscaping industry. We have partnered with various organic flower farmers in Michigan. We also only use organic practices in the gardens that we install.

I am so privileged to be able to enrich other people's lives by giving them an outside space where they can relax and reconnect with nature.
The ability to build an ecosystem to create habitats for wildlife and to bring this to each client brings me immense joy.​

A lot goes into creating a garden from conception to construction. The Team at Floral Bar works enthusiastically with each other and our subcontractors. We are dedicated to creating stunning outside spaces to the tangible reality for our clients.
